   Proposal Description:
   Aims:    1. To discover intermediate endpoints that are predictive of progression to AD among subjects with pre-MCI and to characterize the population of subjects with pre-MCI who are likely to experience these intermediate endpoints and eventually develop AD.  2. To optimize endpoints for progression in subjects with mild established AD for clinical trials and prognostic assessment  3. To evaluate and compare targeted sampling designs for the NACC database with regard to their efficiency for analyses within NACC and for parameter estimation for clinical trial design.
